I am a bachelor student at the University of Vienna, currently doing an internship at the SoMeX Lab under the supervision of Jasmin Di Franco. I will spend about 5 weeks studying bacteria (Myxococcus Xanthus) under the microscope, largely building on the work of a previous bachelor student, Franz Perko. My work focuses on the way the bacteria express their ability to form fruiting bodies under different physical conditions, which will be observed using a microscope.
