&lt;p>I am a bachelor student at the University of Vienna, currently doing an internship at the SoMeX Lab under the supervision of &lt;a href="https://somexlab.github.io/author/jasmin-di-franco/">Jasmin Di Franco&lt;/a>. I will spend about 5 weeks studying bacteria (Myxococcus Xanthus) under the microscope, largely building on the work of a previous bachelor student, &lt;a href="https://somexlab.github.io/author/franz-perko/">Franz Perko&lt;/a>. My work focuses on the way the bacteria express their ability to form fruiting bodies under different physical conditions, which will be observed using a microscope.&lt;/p>
