I am a Summer intern at the University of Vienna. Through the FFG-Praktikum I am spending a month at the institute of physics, where I am working on Brownian motion. Brownian motion is the behaviour of particles in fluids. I am tracking this movement by hand and automatic. The goal is to compare the movement to the calculations and to learn what soft matter physics can mean. Since I want to pursue physics studies at the university starting next semester, I am grateful to have the opportunity to learn how the physics laboratories work and get acquainted with the university.
