I am a PhD student in the Department of Physics at Durham University working under the supervision of Dr. Anders Aufderhorst-Roberts and Dr. Natasha Shirshova. My research focuses on elucidating the structure-property relationship of hybrid double-network hydrogels so that they can be used as a sustainable alternative in consumer products. I have joined Roberto’s group as a visiting student to use the rheo-microscopy expertise developed here to seek structural evidence of the yielding transitions exhibited by these hydrogels.
