I joined the SoMeX Lab at the University of Vienna in March 2026 as a postdoctoral researcher working with Roberto. My research lies at the interface of soft matter physics, microfluidics, and biophysics, focusing on how microscopic objects and biological systems respond to mechanical forces and complex environments.
I obtained my PhD in Physics from Université Paris Cité, conducting research at the PMMH (Physique et Mécanique des Milieux Hétérogènes) under the supervision of Anke Lindner and Olivia du Roure. My doctoral work investigated the transport and deformation of rigid and flexible fibers in microstructured flows using microfluidics and quantitative imaging. After completing my PhD, I continued as a postdoctoral researcher at PMMH, where I investigated the interaction between bacterial suspensions and flexible fibers.
Within the MechanoSynth project, I study the multiscale mechanical responses of biomimetic and biological materials using quantitative microscopy, opto-rheology, and microfluidic platforms.
