Soft Sensory Summer School 2026, Corsica ⛱️🍦

An unique event that aims to translate the knowledge of Soft Matter to Sensory Science and engineering. The summer school was organized by Institut d’Études Scientifiques de Cargèse(University of Corsica, France). This year’s theme was: Soft Matter and Sensory Perception.
Roberto and our postdoctoral researcher, Maxime, participated in the event. Maxime delivered a lecture on the use of Differential Dynamic Microscopy (DDM) for particle sizing and microrheology.
The programme featured a diverse range of inspiring lectures, interactive discussions, and a distinctive hands-on component. Participants carried out tabletop experiments alongside data analysis sessions, including fractional modelling, providing a unique opportunity to connect theory with practical applications.
