Future Scientists in the Making ⚗️🔬🧬

This summer, we are excited to welcome our youngest-ever interns to the group: High School students Nora and Mari for a duration of one month.

They have chosen to make this summer productive by diving into the world of physics and experience life inside a research lab. They are recipients of FFG funded internships for High School students from Austria or from European Schools.

During their internship, they are exploring fascinating topics including Brownian motion and 3D bioprinting, taking their very first steps into experimental research and discovering what it means to work as scientists.

Nora and Mari are supervised by our Master’s students Hannah and Barnali, who are not only guiding them through their first research experience but also getting the opportunity to develop their own supervision skills.

We wish Nora and Mari an exciting summer of discovery, lots of curiosity, and, of course, happy experiments! 😃
